Arthur Conan Doyle

I read yesterday that July 7th marked the anniversary of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s death in 1930. For some reason, I felt compelled to paint him. Here’s where he stands right now. I signed it but there’s still some work to do.

My wife suggested I call it "The Original Doyle"... a shout-out to the popular Newfoundland-based  TV sleuth show “Republic of Doyle”. Good enough reason for me.
