A few more shots from Trinity, Newfoundland. I made them into black and whites with punctuations of colour. These are now available in my Etsy shop as 5x7 and 8x10 prints.

Photo reflections in Trinity, Newfoundland
I was attending a wedding this weekend in Trinity, Newfoundland. When I wasn’t busy snapping the festivities, I was shooting landscapes or, more precisely, the sky and its reflections. The third pic caught an abstract moment when the wake of a boat moved across the water.

Lake Huron progress 2
The self-portrait at Lake Huron is still trucking along albeit much more slowly than I would like. Still lots left to tackle... wood detail, clothing highlights, facial detail, etc. Trying hard to resist putting it aside to start something new: it’s starting to feel a bit like an endurance test. My earlier progress shot is at the right. -->

Puffin'
I tried hard to make this puffin look badass... but he’s still kinda cute.
This fellah is now in my Etsy shop as 5x7 and 8x10 prints.

Berg
I’ve been thinking about icebergs more and more since seeing the David Blackwood show. Might be a berg painting or lino in the near future. But I’m not starting anything else until I finish the current painting. The berg above is from the iPad.

Lake Huron in progress
I’ve been working on this one since last weekend... hoping to finish it by next week. Still in early stages... lots of work left to do. Mainly just shadows and highlights right now.
It’s based on a photo my wife took of me while visiting family in Ontario a few years ago. We took an hour out of our visit to hang out at the nearby beach.

Fiishhh...
Not sure how this came to be. A few random lines evolved into this while I was watching the ’lympics. Maybe he’s a townie taking bayman lessons. “So which part is the fishSTICK?"
