Python paintings

I posted these three Monty Python character portraits in the shop this evening.  These were posted last year but I realized the photos I took were terrible so I re-shot them tonight. Much better but they still seem a little bright.

They’ve been hanging in our TV room for a year-and-a-half. I’ll miss them if they sell (I’m a life-long Python fan), but I’d rather have the cash to buy more art supplies.

Then I can paint more Python portraits. :)

Sergeant Major

"Marching up and down the square not good enough for you? Right. Off with you then." Michael Palin's Sergeant Major in The Meaning of Life always cracks me up.

Mr. Creosote

Monty Python nerds (like me) might recognize this fellow from the movie The Meaning of Life. It's not quite finished... I plan to rework the background and fuss over a few details. It's my first painting of the year... feels good to be back at it!
